Same-Sex Couple Threatened Ahead of Wedding
After the Supreme Court granted same-sex couples the right to marriage throughout the United States, there has yet to be a stop to anti-gay remarks and discrimination towards the LGBT community.
There is no secret that traditional values do not disappear over night. Just look at that gruesome murder in “Brokeback Mountain.” People are still doing that in so many different ways, especially verbally.
Everyone has a right to free speech. Just as everyone has the right to safety.

Just recently, a gay couple in Ohio received hate mail ahead of their wedding. An anonymous friend, that they sent an invitation to, said they and other “so-called friends” are only coming to the wedding for an anti-gay protest. Not for support.
The couple brushed it off their shoulders and just let the haters hate. They ain’t canceling the wedding (two snaps and an eye roll)!
Check out the typed letter sent to the couple’s house. The full story can be found on Mic.com.
While you’re ate it, take a look at Rolling Stone‘s 2014 article listing the top five worst homophobic states. Will they update the list with “Ohio” at the top?
